The layout plan and elevation drawing of the switchyard forms the basis of further detail engineering drawings for Earthing, Lightning protection, Lighting, Cable trenches, Overall Foundation layout, Overall structural layout, Fire hydrant layout, Road and Surface drainage system layout drawings. The layout drawings are prepared with ref. to IE Rules, CBIP standards and relevant Indian standards for Indian projects and as per BS/IEC/ANSI/NESC standards for projects in Middle East, Africa and other Asian countries.
